Philippine Epics on Canvas and Paper

The University Center for Culture and the Arts of Polytechnic University of the Philippines through the Visual Arts Office put up a painting exhibition dubbed as "Philippine Epics on Canvas and Paper". The exhibition runs from September 22-28, 2008 at the CCA Training Room, CCA Building (Formerly Antique House), Pureza St., Sta. Mesa. Manila.

The exhibition features the works of Bachelor of Science in Interior Design 4-1 of the College of Architecture and Fine Arts of PUP, Guhit Sudlungan Members, and other guest artists. The works showcase the different regional epics of the country. Epics like Lam ang Sandayo, Ullalim, Darangan and others were artistically transformed into visual images.
